Not this baby in my belly
A personal work on infertility, pregnancy loss and giving birth during the pandemic.
The project brings reproductive experience into public space without translating it into medical case history or private confession alone. The body becomes both evidence and medium.

Selected exhibitions & performance

Notes from Underground
International group exhibition · /SAC @ Malmaison, Bucharest · 17 April–25 May 2025
Curated by Charles Moore and Alex Radu. I participated with Portavoce (2018), placing the documentary within an exhibition concerned with instability, dissent, propaganda, surveillance and the fragile structures of social order.
Horror Vacui
Durational performance · Galateca, Bucharest · 15–22 February 2025
I participated in the 168-hour continuous performance built around testimonies of abandonment and its opposite. The project brought together 505 performers in a relay of 20-minute interventions, transforming archival and personal testimony into a collective act of memory, attention and civic reflection.
One in Three / Una din Trei
Multimedia exhibition · Bucharest, Călărași, Sofia
I initiated and co-curated One in Three, a multimedia exhibition addressing pregnancy loss, infertility, reproductive expectations and the social silence surrounding these experiences. The project brought together artists and personal testimonies from Romania and Bulgaria and travelled from Rezidența9 in Bucharest to Călărași and DOZA Gallery in Sofia.

Bodies under construction
An exhibition framework connecting historical governance of women’s bodies with contemporary systems of evaluation, image-making and control.
Live video, archive, documentary material and participatory devices turn spectatorship itself into part of the work: the visitor is not only looking, but becomes an image that can be selected, fragmented and measured.
